Introduction to the temporary loading area

The construction of the "Tavantolgoi Coal Loading Logistics Center" /TCLLC/ with facilities for loading coal to be transported by rail will be commissioned in December 2023 according to the master plan. Prior to the commissioning of TCLLC, in accordance with the company's "Railway Transportation Development Program 2050", a temporary loading area for loading containerized and bulk coal into wagons was established in cooperation with "Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC at the front of the ring road of Tavantolgoi station.

The temporary loading area is located in the mining license area of "Erdenes Tavantolgoi" JSC, in the 3rd team of Tsogttsei Sum, Umunogov Province, south of the loading ring road of Tavantolgoi station. Unloading operations are organized at the site.

The temporary loading area has a total area of ​​11 hectares and a capacity of 10 million tons per year. It is a 24-hour continuous operation facility for unloading coal from the Tavantolgoi group of deposits and loading it into container trains. There are 2 areas for container and bulk cargo, with a total of 65 wagon loading and unloading fronts, loading and unloading operations are carried out using heavy-duty container loaders and buckets.
