The Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait railway has a total of 6 crossings: Khairkhan, Khangai, Urt-Gol, Oyuut, Shini-Us, and Khulant.

Each of the crossings is equipped with an electronic semi-automatic blocking system, with a crossrail in both odd and even directions. There are a total of 4 tracks, 2 for receiving and sending trains, 1 for commercial trains, and 1 dead end. The average track profile is 1.5 o/oo. The automated workplace is equipped with CCTV camera monitoring system, security SCADA system and key counter systems. Malfunction management is equipped with remote alarm and communication system, which can be transmitted from the control center of Tavantolgoi station.
